All our meters, microphones, accelerometers etc., are delivered with current calibration certificates, traceable to UKAS. Our ISO 9001 laboratory is audited by British Standards and we are Sponsor Members of the Institute of Acoustics.

Although all our meters are delivered with a calibration certificates it is good practice to apply a calibrator, just before and after the measurements to check the system including any cables etc., is OK and hasn't been damaged since it left us.

It is also standard practice to include these tests noting the type and serial number of the calibrator in reports.

The 51AB may be used for residual intensity testing, level and the particle velocity calibration
as specified in BS EN 61043
