| We stock Sony and TEAC DAT recorders and several specialist items. Our B&K 2250 and the Nor 121 analysers have built-in and removable card storage to capture the acoustic raw data while analysing the noise / vibration levels. Some customers prefer to use a sound level meter or vibration meter as a front-end, feeding the analogue output into a tape recorder, some examples are listed below.  Investigating noise complaints can be a lengthy job often involving many 'out of hours' visits. Install a B&K Matron-II system, which comprises a B&K 2236 + Sony DAT Recorder, in the complainants property and most of the time consuming work will be done for you and provide irrefutable evidence for mediation or prosecution. Investigating noise complaints can be a lengthy job often involving many 'out of hours' visits. Install a B&K Matron III system in the complainants property for high quality noise recordings and simultaneous measurements without being there. Delivered in a secure case with remote control so system cannot be 'tampered' with. The 2250 includes the usual frequency analysis and logging software but also has the BZ 7226 Sound Recording option which enables simultaneous recording of the measured sound levels, so you can identify and document the individual sound sources. The audio data is recorded to a 512 MB SD card for subsequent archiving and inclusion in your report. Matron III details |

A Norsonic 121 analyser in a lockable case. The system can be left inside a 'complainants' house to monitor the noise or noise and vibration levels. When a noise event occurs the resident pushes a button, the sound is captured with the date and time on the hard disk while the Nor 121 analyser simultaneously records the level v time history and / or statistical analysis more details |
