Effectiveness of anti-vibration gloves and materials
Measurement ranges with supplied tri-axial accelerometer ≈ 5 m/s2 to 50,000 m/s2 *
Description:-
The HVM 100 is a hand-held instrument for measuring human exposure to vibration, performing the relevant calculations and providing overall results on the LCD display. The results may also be stored in the built-in data logger which can hold up to 100 separate time histories and be down loaded to a PC for further analysis and archiving
Measuring all three axis simultaneously simplifies the test setup, testing time and enhances the repeatability and correlation of the measurements. Both Peak and RMS levels of the 3-axis may be stored together with the important vector sum which the HVM 100 also calculates.
The results, current and recalled from the memory may be downloaded to a PC - order the HVM SW utility software, if required. Alternatively HyperTerminal an 'Accessories' program in Windows will download HVM 100 files one at a time.
The analyser provides AC and DC outputs for connecting to FFT analysers like the DI-2200 or DAT recorders for archiving 'the raw data' and post processing.
Manufacturer's Specifications
The HVM 100 is delivered with a SEN 020 triaxial accelerometer complete with a CBL 122 cable, a handle and mounting block, an isolation stud/pad, a box of wax and 4 'fixing' ties, together with a CBL 006 PC serial interface cable, all in a carrying case
* acceleration conversion factor: 1 g = 9.8 ms-2
* * whole body - if you need a 'seat-pad' accelerometer, order a SEN 027
