Description:-
The HVM100 is a hand-held instrument for measuring human exposure to vibration, performing the relevant calculations and providing overall results on the LCD display. The results may also be stored in the built-in data logger which can hold up to 100 separate time histories and be down loaded to a PC for further analysis and archiving
Measuring all three axis simultaneously simplifies the test setup, testing time and enhances the repeatability and correlation of the measurements. Both Peak and RMS levels of the 3-axis may be stored together with the important vector sum which the HVM100 also calculates.
The results, current and recalled from the memory may be downloaded to a PC - order the
HVM SW utility software, if required. Alternatively Hyper-Terminal an 'Accessories' program in Windows will download HVM100 files one at a time.
The analyzer provides AC and DC outputs for connecting to FFT analyzers like the
B&K 2250 for immediate detailed analysis or recording the 'raw data' for archiving or subsequent post processing.
Manufacturer's Specifications
The HVM100 is delivered with a SEN020 triaxial accelerometer complete with a CBL122 cable, a handle and mounting block, an isolation stud/pad, a box of wax and 4 'fixing' ties, together with a CBL006 PC serial interface cable, all in a carrying case
* acceleration conversion factor: 1 g = 9.8 ms-2
* * whole body - if you need a 'seat-pad' accelerometer, order a SEN 027
| SEN027 | Tri-axial seat pad sensor ≈ 100 mV/g ≈ 10 mV/ms-2 |
£ 10 a day * |
| | Designed for use with the HVM Analyzer, the accelerometer fits neatly into the rubber seat with each of the 3-axis clearly marked and covering the whole body frequency range 0.5 Hz to 100 Hz. | |
