| Building Acoustics using the Nor 118 + |
The Nor 118 + Real Time Sound Analyser includes an internal noise generator and the circuits to measure the room noise levels and calculate the reverberation times - ideal for survey work. To use your own amplifier/speaker system, just add a Nor 4514 noise output cable and a tapping machine if required.

Features
Up to 40 microphone positions.
Selection of 6 hemispherical or parallel-piped surfaces.
Correction for background noise and for the acoustic environment.
Frequency analysis to establish flat or A-weighted spectrum.
Checks for possible impulsive noise and the directivity.
Also measures the C-weighted Lpeak
A class 1 calibrator is also recommended.

| Multi-spectrum Measurement using the Nor 118 + |
|
| The multi-spectrum option allows even more sophisticated measurements. This upgrade of the time profile permits complete spectra to be measured as a function of time - not just broadband. You may then track a given frequency band as a function of time or inspect the spectrum at a given moment in time. You can even record the 1/3-octave statistics for each period of time within an overall measurements - providing full information for enhanced environmental noise surveys |
