Miscellaneous Accessories

Many cables and accessories are duplicated by the manufacturers. For example a BNC to BNC cable or a simple foam windshield can have many type numbers. To avoid duplication we use GA type numbers for common items.

Many special cables are also available. For example you may want to connect the output of a B&K sound level meter to a Diagnostic Instruments FFT Analyser or a Sony DAT recorder - mix and match from the lists below.

There are a multitude of power supplies and connectors, supplied by the various manufacturers, even though they basically serve the same purpose. To overcome this problem, both our mains units [GA 40B1-00] and 12 V, 10 A·h batteries [GA 50B1-00] have 2-pin male connectors and we have made up a range of compatible DC leads to fit most sound level meters - see the GA 51F2 series below.

Each battery and mains unit include one DC lead, which you should specify, to suit your meter. If you order a GA 91E1-00 environmental enclosure with one of our meters, then a DC lead is automatically included.
